"Never Tear Us Apart"...it's not just an underrated INXS song anymore. Award winning director Sid Zanforlin is bringing his latest short film, titles Never Tear Us Apart to the Fantasia Film Festival in Montreal. The bloody cannibalesque tale will open for the film Baaghi on Wednesday July the 19th at 10pm in the Hall Theater at Concordia University. The film tells the tale of a man searching for his grandparents only to learn that they are crazed, backwoods cannibals.
Never Tear Us Apart is currently seeing funding as Zanforlin hopes to turn the short film into a feature. Not to be too spoilerish, but we've seen the film and we have to say, not only is it chocked full of some pretty cool practical effects, but has a twist ending that will leave you with a pretty full smile on your face. make sue you head over to Fantasia and check out Never Tear Us Apart, along with the bevy of other awesome programming they have. If you can't make it to Montreal to see Never Tear Us Apart, the film will be included in the upcoming anthology series titled Minutes Past Midnight, which is slated to see release through Indiecan on October the 18th of 2016.
