Check Out The First Poster For Adam Green's 'Digging Up the Marrow'!

One of the worst kept secrets here on the DW is our deep seeded affection for the Adam Green/Joe Lynch podcast "The Movie Crypt." One of the driving threads through the last years worth of shows is the growing mystery behind Greens next project Digging Up the Marrow. To say that Green is holding his cards close to his vest would be a disservice to vests (I know that makes no sense, but I don't give a shit.) Finally, with the film seeing release in 2015, the Digging Up the Marrow hype machine has begun to prime its engines. The good folks at Entertainment Weekly shared the first image of Greens faux documentary earlier today. Check it out:

Digging up the Marrow is a joint venture from Green and renowned artist Alex Pardee, and if this synopsis doesn't get you, then stop reading this site. "When filmmaker Adam Green receives a package in his fan mail from a strange man claiming that he can prove that monsters indeed exist, he and his crew are taken on a mysterious, fantastical, and terrifying journey into the shadows and deep down under the ground below our very feet.   Inspired by the art of Alex Pardee and starring Ray Wise (TWIN PEAKS, X-MEN FIRST CLASS), DIGGING UP THE MARROW has shaped up to be the most unique ArieScope film to date as its real-life documentary style blends reality with fantasy in a way that will leave even the most hardcore skeptic believing in the existence of monsters." Look for Adam Greens Digging Up The Marrow in theaters and on VOD of February 20th of 2015, and check out Ariescope.com for further updates on the film.
