Big Day for Sharito Copley

Is it me or does he look a little like Micheal Bay?
If you haven't seen Chan-wook Parks genius 'Oldboy' then stop reading head to your nearest purveyor of DVD or blu ray sales and purchase it. Take it home, watch it. Then get back on DreadWorld and read the rest of this post. If you can't afford it, this is the one time (and I mean the only time) it would be acceptable to murder someone in a parking lot for their cash. The film is that good.

Being that it's a foreign film that is great, Hollywood has decided a remake is of course in order. To be helmed by none other than legendary New York Knicks fan Spike Lee...someone told me he's a director as well. That makes more sense I guess.

Already cast for the new version is Brand from the Goonies himself, Josh Brolin. That's not really fair. Brolin has made quite the name for himself working with the Coen Brothers amongst others. He's even hosted Saturday Night Live, twice. You can see him next playing young Tommy Lee Jones in the sure to be awful 'Men In Black III.'

Joining Brolin in Lees adaptation will be 'District 9's Sharito Copley. Copley has officially signed on to play the villain to Brolins protagonist. But that wasn't all the good news for Copley yesterday! It was also announced he has been cast in the horror flick 'Open Grave' which centers on a man who wakes up in a pile of dead bodies with no memory of how he got there. He meets other amnesiacs and they must deduce who the killer is. Sounds pretty damn cool if you ask me.
